i NEED to talk about the fact that Aditi canonically taught Jesper how to shoot (Crooked Kingdom page 257: “And she taught him how to shoot. First with a child’s pellet gun that was little more than a toy, then with pistols and rifle.”)

but Aditi died when Jesper was SEVEN. and he was presumably already pretty damn good if he was advancing from toys to real guns and learning how to use different types. which means that Aditi Hili looked her FIVE YEAR OLD SON dead in the eye and thought “yeah i should hand this hyperactive child a gun and teach him how to shoot it” that is fucking insane

In your Spitfire AU, since Zuko is looking after Lu Ten II, what happened to Ursa?

Zuko is slightly older in the Spitfire AU. He was banished at fifteen, his head a little clearer and denial a little weaker than in canon. After his first look through the Air Temples, Zuko decides that if he can't find a myth, he might as well search for the next best thing.

Finding Ursa isn't easy, but in time he makes it to a secluded house in a near-forgotten part of the world. His mom is there, older and stronger and alive.

But she isn't alone.

And Zuko, as it turns out, didn't keep the best company during his search.

When Ursa is discovered and her secrets are laid bare for assassins (for Ozai) to find, she begs Zuko to take his little brother and run. She'll do anything it takes to protect her children, even if that means leaving them behind to keep a target off their back. Ursa diverts attention from them and allows Lu Ten's ancestry to be kept a secret. She orders Zuko not to follow her again, and disappears.

Zuko is left with a little three-year-old brother to raise and a mother he cannot hold onto.

She loves to sleep outside my bedroom door, then wake up to my alarm , then sit and meow until I let her in, and she likes to just generally lurk in my doorway when I have the door open. She also tries to get me any time I’m in the bathroom. She hides under my roommates beds. She likes to take up a whole entire cushion of our couch. She eats most but not all of her wet food and gets annoyed with me because of it. I love her

Making another post about how Fearne doesn't think she's getting off of the moon because oh my god.

She has had so many destinies thrown at her and now the culmination of all of them is going to kill her and she's so calm about it. She was born under the red moon by design. The fate stitcher stole over 100 years from her, stealing her parents from her. The Spider Queen corrupted a different version of herself and tried to get another. She pulled a wild fire spirit out of a volcano and somehow that meant she was supposed to absorb a shard of an ancient titan that she Did Not™ want.

All these things happened to her. She has had so little agency in her life and just as she was finally getting her freedom, spreading her legs wings, the world is going to end. And even if it's just the moon, even if it's just them. Her life is ending before it could really begin.

And she's so calm about it.
